Our small and dedicated team is determined to provide outstanding dental service and solutions for complex dental problems.

Our core team has been working together for many years, complementing and supporting each other to attain our ultimate goal – our patient’s comfort and dental health. From the first contact with us, patients know that we are serious about delivering outstanding care. They also appreciate the warm and informal environment we create so they feel comfortable enough to discuss their dental and general health issues with Janis or Yvonne.

hygienist

Sonya Our dental hygienist Sonya Kercher was trained in Adelaide and has been working in this field for 10 years. When she started with us she had recently returned from Switzerland where she worked for 1 year, adding to her broad range of skills as a dental hygienist. More recently she and her husband Henrik have just had their first child, a little girl, Maija. Sonya is on maternity leave and in the meantime Yelena Donets is continuing her work, helping our patients attain optimum oral health and providing advice to those at high risk of dental decay and erosion. Yelena came to Australia 7 years ago and has impressive broad dental training and experience.

receptionist

Janet Campbell is our newest staff member and is the first point of contact, along with Liz Smith, since they both handle phone inquiries and make appointments. Janet keeps the practice administration on track, and she and Liz are available to answer questions about what patients should expect and clarify any matter relating to accounts. Janet replaces Janet Choules who until recently was our practice manager for many years. Sadly Janet Choules lost her fight against cancer.

 

treatment coordinator

LizLiz holds a Dental Assistants Certificate (DAA) and is the treatment coordinator. She focusses on making sure our patients’ dental needs are being satisfied. She liaises with the patient and other specialists during implementation of the treatment plan so that we can deliver the finished product as quickly as possible. In her 11 years with the practice, Liz knows just about all the patients.

 

 

clinical staff

EmmaClinical staff members do more than assist the doctors and make sure our patients remain comfortable during their treatment. Emma Dohmen is our senior clinical trainer and laboratory manager. She has been with the practice for 9 years, holds a Dental Assistants Certificate (DAA) and is an integral member of our team. She undertakes much of the ‘behind the scenes’ preparatory work that helps Janis and Yvonne make their diagnoses. She also helps Liz monitor our patients’ progress after significant dental work has occurred.
